The SLUG archive pages are a good place to start. I went to the digests
ages ago because the volume on this list was getting unmanageable. Now
I don't even bother with the digest - I just read straight from the
current archives:

   http://www.progsoc.uts.edu.au/lists/slug/current/

I can easily skip articles if the title doesn't sound very interesting
