Hey all,
I know next to nothing about boot roms and such... Does anyone know
of a good reference/resource for how they work, etc? There isn't a
howto that I can see...
A real X terminal would be nice, but having seen the diskless
terminal at the SuSE stand, I reckon I can talk my 486 into doing
the same thing. I'm on the right track here aren't I?
When it comes to X, would a 486-diskless be sufficient to "run" E,
GNOME or whatever? It's essentially just rendering stuff to the
screen, right?
Grahame - what were the specs of the X terminal you were running at
the stand? Can you recommend a good place to purchase one?
