http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/FAQ/FAQ-17.html

All explained in here.

The only thing it does not describe well is how to redirect the port to
squid. Does mandrake use IPCHAINS, then you need:

/sbin/ipchains -A input -p tcp -s 192.168.0.0/24 -d 0.0.0.0/0 80 -j REDIRECT
8080

where 192.168.0.0/24 is your local network address range.

If it is anything else I cannot help

Regards
Bernhard
