Just using the standard bttv module? Get Gerds bttv, I'm just using 0.6.4,
for the 2.2.* kernels. I have a PixelView PlayTVPro, (an extremely
different card to the PixelView PlayTV) it took me around
nine months to figure out how to get it going, ;] ... Just taking a look
through the bttv.c source code (especially the tvcards struct) can be a
very learning experience. you don't have to be a C guru either Any
joining the video4linux listserv is a great
source of information too. There's also a BTTV-MINI-HOWTO..
I'll just assume that the card has a new haupage, BT878 (10, I think) chip
on it. Not too sure about the pll settings, but seeing you only have three
options there, you might just beable to guess the right number over a
period of time. 0, 1, 2 ...
The name of the tuner should actual be on the box that the card came in.

Well, heard some rumours off some techies that some pci slots on some
older >PII m/b can act differently. The ones closer to the bottom
of the card aren't as reliable. Rumours though...
Also, how does the sound setup go? Is it an external cord from the tuner,
into the sound card?
mixer=line
This option goes well in your .xawtv config file.
