Dear SLUGs,
after downloading the latest MySQL tarball i managed to gunzip it, configure it and
make it. However, during the installation of the binaries (make install) the process
seems to grind to a halt at: -
BITS = 64 -c sql_yacc.cc
#
where my system is running but nothing happens for quite some time. Make that a couple
of hours. Did something terrible happen during installation or am i just being too
impatient?
Any help is appreciated
