Try going to linuxtoday.com and searching for postgres, you'll
get a few articles, including a good comparison called

One thing I don't like about mysql is they have in the past done
very mindcraft/microsoft type benchmarks (ie using the latest mysql
but an old version of postgres when the latest postgres has speed
improvements, etc.)
Plus its hard to do a fair comparison between mysql and
postgres because of the different features and goals they have.
It would be fairer to compare postgres with oracle, and mysql
with a plastic toy :)
One thing that you should consider is support, if you can't find the info
you need on postgres, but find lots of info on mysql, then make things
easier on yourself and use mysql.
