Don't know - but I would have thought that the alsa OSS emulation would use the asound
libs anyhow so if that's broken for you, OSS emulation probably wouldn't work anyhow.
I suggest just rmmodding the alsa modules and modprobing the oss ones (or better still
finding the cause of the alsa problem and fixing it).
