Hi Jeremy,
PHP would suit you well for this, if you tie in a DB, maybe MySQL and keep a record(s)
for
each item in the store then you could reference whatever info you keep on the file. I
think
there are server side things taht allow searching of binaries like word docs and stuff.
The FTP functions in PHP make it dead easy to upload files.
