Hi all,
can someone please decipher this cryptic error message.
After trying to set the password with:
/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqladmin -u root 'new-password'
i get
'can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock (111)' check that
mysqld is running and that the socket: '/tmp/mysql.sock' exists'.
could this mean that something has gone wrong during the installation?
