The closest, unfortunately, I've seen is the Windows help / action thingies. Even these are done poorly and not deeply enough. It just strikes me that the indexing of the help material; howtos, man and info pages, could be done more systematically and _combinably_, and that when you have the material, it doesn't lead you enough along the path of how to do it (generally assuming knowledge of the whole document). Perhaps what I am asking is not appropriate, since often more knowledge is needed to do anything useful. There are some packages with commands and options, but I was thinking deeper embedding / linking.
