[SLUG] Proxy Programming

Hi all,

i'm mucking about writing a simple http proxy/filter at the moment, and i
was wondering, does anybody know where I could find some info on what
exactly is required to make a proxy work ? I've had a look in the http1.0
RFC, but it wasn't all that clear or helpful.

Any other sources ?
