hi I am trying to compile licq from the source so i can enable socks5 and k docking but i am having a bit of trouble. (licq) ./configure --enable-socks5 (qt) ./configure --with-k the ./configure works fine the make chucks an err1 at me and complians about a missing file socks.h and when i try to compile the qt plugin it complaigns about a not high enough version of qt when i know i have the right v.( i checked this by installing the rpms of everything. however the rpm also complins about qt but a --nodeps works fine then i can run licq fine. i tried to dl and compile both dante and sockscap (mentioned in README.socks) but neither compile and i cant find the binarys. i am now compleatly lost as i need to get icq working through a socks server because of the proxy ( i can make a udp tunnel but then i cant send files or chat.) has anyone got licq working through socks or had this kind of problem? it there another version of icq that handles socks servers??? or a place with socks enabled rpms? any other ideas ?? thanks in advance alex -- SLUG - Sydney Linux Users Group Mailing List - http://www.slug.org.au To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe in the text
