Hi all, Hope this message "appears" ok, I'm sending it from lose95 cos I can't get bloody ppp to work on my laptop (and frustratingly enough the M$ thing connects fine). It just bombs out as soon as I start it with the tcgetattr error below. It doesn't help using the kppp thing either (kde's ppp connection thing). Also of concern is all these "neighbour table overflow" messages and the buffer space thing. The laptop only has 32Mb of memory, but 100Mb of swap and either way it should still work with a lot less than that. It's corel linux 1.0 if that matters. Please CC any replies to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". Thanks, Dave. PS. here's the possibly useful info, sorry for the crap formatting, it seems this version of linux doesn't include unix2dos and dos2unix!!! laptop[root]> pon laptop[root]> Apr 24 17:27:20 laptop kernel: CSLIP: code copyright 1989 Regents of the University of California Apr 24 17:27:20 laptop kernel: PPP: version 2.3.7 (demand dialling) Apr 24 17:27:20 laptop kernel: PPP line discipline registered.
