Howdy
I'm also setting up ppp (a popular topic today) with a Terminal Adaptor to
connect to my ISP.
The TA is just a fancy ISDN modem, gives full hayes support etc so it really
just looks like a modem.
Now when I connect to my ISP I get the usual ppp stuff then I try to conect
using PAP.
I have my options setup to specify the PAP user the pap-secrets have the PAP
user and passcode but it just trys a few times and then gives up with PPP
reporting modem disconnect.
How can I get some moe info from PAP (or PPP) so as I can try to diagnose
the problem ?
Also this PAP setup was copied from a working one from my old ISP so should
be close to working, you would think.
