Almost all Compaq machines store their BIOS configuration programs on a
small{ish} special partition on ther hard disk.
When booting, watch for the white, filled rectangle block to appear in the
top RIGHT hand side of the screen {just after the double beep from the
BIOS, usually}, then press F10.
Provided the config programs are installed, this should load a mini
version of DOS and the BIOS config program.
