Thanks to everyone that helped the first time i got @home up and running .
But i seem to have some conflicts with nic cards not 100% sure though.
Anyway i modprobe eth0 with ne io=0x300 irq 5
and eth1 with 3c509 io=0x300 irq 10
And they both go i then ifconfig eth0 up
and ifconfig eth1 with a inet and netmask address.
eth0 i use for cable. Anyway after i run dhclient and it connects i start
getting these errors from both cards.
eth0: timeout waiting for Tx RDC
eth0: Unexpected Tx-done interrupt, lasttx=20
eth1: transmit timedout, Tx_status 70 status 0000 Tx FIFO room1.
Keeps getting posted down my screen. I then noticed cable speed to be slow,
And every now and again. The connection would just drop while doing
something ie , Downloading or viewing webpages and it wouldnt restart i
would have to restart cable connection. the eth0 is a ne2000 card, The
3c509 is a etherlink III card,
Also whenever i view a webpage or do anything that requires the cable this
error pops up straight away.
eth0: timeout waiting for Tx RDC, And with the room error it can be room 1
or 129 it changes.
I Cannot think of anything else that could be of any help
Again any help would be great.
I tryed changing the io for nics to 280 for one and 300 for other but still
get the error. :(
