Hi All,

Naturally, LinuxWorld.com.au would be very interested in interviews with
the people SLUG represents: enthusiasts through business-minded users.
About a month ago i made a post asking for people interested in conducting
case studies of how their businesses use or offer Linux as a solution. I
had a good response, and am (I apologise) still considering the
methodology by which we can generate the most meaningful information.
LinuxWorld.com.au is not yet SMH-mainstream press, but dedicating one's
self to Linux press coverage takes with it a certain element of the
alternative, yes?

If, collectively, SLUG believes that this would be a productive avenue, I
can begin working on questions and a means of integrating it as a feature
of the site, etc. Personally, I think this is a great idea, with other
possibilities already ticking in my head =-)

Also, LinuxWorld.com.au is run by IDG Communications, which *is* a big
name in IT press.

What does everyone think?

Gavin
