Yes it is...It's called fibre Channel Arbitrated Loop..most hard drive
manufacturers have quite good documents on this as well as their own jumper
settings -- to give you a guide to your LVD vs SE questions. Typically you will
have to move a jumper to choose between SE {single ended} and LVD.
