Why not get Asus K7M or even K7V?
What's the reason behind you getting Abit's KA7? The settable multiplier via
BIOS? If yes, then you can forget about overclocking via BIOS, it only works
to a very low level. My 500 only managed to work till 111Mhz from 100Mhz.
Anyway the K7M I'm using even support the Super Bypass hidden feature, when
this super bypass thingy was discovered 2 months after I bought the
motherboard, and it even support clock speed higher than 850Mhz.
