Normally I wouldn't rise the bait, but I am taking your posts at
face value.
As one SLUGGer to another, I offer this.
The SLUG list is for basically technical discussion about Linux.
It relies to a large extent on restraint, goodwill.
It will break down if it is abused, if people use it excessively
for promotion, self agrrandisement etc.
Part of that process relies on someone occassionally 'speaking up',
of drawing attention to the boundaries.
On this occasion, Anand did that, and from my perspective quite
properly. He used moderate language and was to the point.
Matt, your personally directed remark doesn't do you credit, brings us
all down.
It is indeed Anand's business. Anand is Vice-President of SLUG.
