Apart from squid you could also suggest using junkbuster at
http://www.junkbuster.org/
which will work with squid to block ads. Another bonus. Possibily no need
to mention that its a seperate app. It all runs on linux.
If you do get junkbuster though, get the RPMS from waldher.org (link on
the junkbuster page) as it does image replacement. The junkbuster.org copy
just give broken images.
