I have the additional line that I forgot before

exec of /www/cgi-bin/mailfeedback.cgi failed, errno is 2

I take it that is the perl compile error

How do I check if i am printing content headers ?

Check you're printing content headers. Failing that, your apache error_log
(like access, but catches stderr, logs missing files, etc) should have the
perl compile error.
