David, I believe Optus Cable quite clearly indicated that where
current cable customers are using cable TV, then setting up a cable
modem will not require any new installation (it uses the same cable
just different frequencies) and assuming the cable distribution system
at the building head can handle it, then its simply a matter of
connecting the cable modem to the cable point in your unit once the
branch is cable modem enabled.

I suspect though the distribution system would have to be Optus Cable
approved (which I assume would be the case).
