All,
I see the shell script subject came up. Perhaps this subject could be
covered at a SLUG meeting (or a special Saturday 'HOW TO' fest) for
those of us not as well versed in this useful stuff.
I've been trying without success to get a script to start truetype fonts
(esp. for use with Netscape & RH6.x) when I login. The books say to put
it in .bash_profile script but it won't go.
the commands are:
cd xfstt-1.0/
xfstt &
cd /etc/X11
xset fp+ inet/127.0.0.1:7101
which I put at the end of the script. What's missing?
