I'm drawing a long bow here, but has anyone any experience with running D3 Pick on Linux, especially Linux running RAID 1. I have the RAID 1 running beaut on RH6.1, but when I come to install the D3 Pick it only offers the raw disk partitions and there is no provision to use the /dev/md? RAID devices. D3 Pick uses Linux partitions but with its own filesystem rather after the style of a combination of Linear RAID and RAID 0. Now my understanding of how software RAID works, if I could somehow persuade D3 Pick to use the /dev/md? devices rather than the /dev/sd?? partitions then it should all work. The other option is hardware RAID, but I, and the client, would like to avoid the expense if possible.
