> Is the slug list an appropriate place for such adds??

Sure!

If you'd like to post a job offer to SLUG, you're quite welcome. There are a
few things you should keep in mind though:

1) If it's auto-generated, it's SPAM, and you're sure be flamed (never mind
the lack of response). It certainly doesn't sound like you'll be doing that
though!

2) Make mention that it's an employment offer in the subject line, just
something like [JOB] will do. Much like posting [OT] off-topic, so you can
let people know before they read it.

3) Make sure it's Linux related. I fear the day someone posts a primarily
NT-admin job to the list (I won't even mention Novell).

It's always nice to hear of the Linux-related jobs around town, and find out
who the 'Linux-friendly' employers are, so go for it!

Besides, if you couldn't post job offers here, where *would* you go to find
the best people?
