This is very similar to something I've been seeing on our intranet.
One of our servers got something like that after our network administrators
(bless their cotton socks) put some port snooping software on that looks to
see what PC ports are open.
I complained to them about it as (in my case) they were hitting smtp ports,
so they re-configured to avoid my server.
Do you share the LAN with other os's?
