Afternoon
I've got a couple of slackware boxes at the office here that I need to get
DBD::mysql ( Perl database connectivity ) installed onto, and I was
wondering what the procedure would be.
Normally on Redhat I would just install the mysql-client and mysql-devel
rpms and then install DBD::mysql from there, but slackware obviously doesn't
use rpms...
Now I could grab the source and compile, but last time it was a pain, so if
anyone knows whether slackware has a package management system, I'd like to
try that first.
Any suggestions?
Note I'm not actually installing the MySQL server here, just the client
libraries.
