Hey guys.. I've never ever needed to do this until now. My cpio problem was that I needed to specify a block size (cpio -ocvB --block-size=4096 -O /dev/st0). Weird.. as I never had to before but so far the files are still going. My question is: Why is it sometimes I see it gets I/O errors depending on the BS value? 4096 seems to be working fine... thanks, George Vieira Network Administrator Citadel Computer Systems P/L http://www.citadelcomputer.com.au -- SLUG - Sydney Linux Users Group Mailing List - http://www.slug.org.au To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe in the text
