Well mine doesn't. Some of the lower end Cisco gear runs other software.
This is usually where Cisco has purchased another vendor (they do this
quite a bit) and then rebrand the product as Cisco. For some of the
technologies once they integrate the stuff into their own products it
migrates over to IOS.
The 700 series does not run IOS as far as I know whereas the 800 series
does (maybe slightly stripped down). Everything above that runs IOS.

P.S. I liked Jamies floppy based router for his new O@H connection. I have
a problem with routing on my network due to ISDN and Cable so I think I
am going to build one of these myself. Now where was that spare day...
