$130 a month is the current price if you are on the trial. By the way if
you're connected to the Ryde, Epping or Kent St exchanges you can participate ion the
trial. I very much doubt that telstra will charge $130 for 1.5Mbits Flat rate once the
trial is over. There's no way they can cover the cost for that mich.
And yes you can get it working under Linux, it just usses PPP over Ethernet.
Took me about 20 minutes to get working.
You can check wether it's available in your area at
http://www.telstra.com.au/adsl click on the coverage button ant type in your phone
number.
