3) run exim
Exim is much easier to configure then sendmail.
Debian has it in main and comes with a most excellent configuration
setup script.
RedHat has it on their contrib site but I couldn't meet the dependencies
of the binary RPM with RH5.2, so instead I compiled it from source with
an SRPM from the exim site (www.exim.org). The binary RPM might work
with RH6.x, but I've never tried it.
