Hi All,
Another thing which might bias their stats is that
non-Explorer browsers may report themselves as Explorer. I
downloaded Opera for Linux and its much faster than Netscape
and in the Preferences/Advanced is a simple dialog box as to
what you want Opera to identify itself as:
Opera
Mozilla 3.0
Mozilla 4.72
MSIE 5.0
Some users may set this as MSIE 5.0 so their browser is
allowed to look out beyong the companies firewall. Yes - I
know of a company whose M$ firewall only allows MSIE to look
out, it bars Netscape.
