Hi,
While digging around in my Switch logs, I found some ports having a number of IGMP
packets associated with them, about 5 out of 40. I am not 100% sure on IGMP but my
quick reading says it 'allows Internet hosts to participate in multicasting'.
Is this a concern? What type of applications (on aschool network) would be doing
multicasting?
