I need a cheap PCI scsi card with at least one external
50 pin high density connector ("honda 50").
It must work in linux, of course.
I've found the Symbios ones (as sold by Len Chan)
but the cheap one ($90 or so) doesn't have a BIOS
on the card meaning you can't boot from a disk
(or cd) attached to it.
So anyone know of one that does have a BIOS but
is still cheap? (I know there's the Adaptec 2940
that fits the bill but it's $380 new - there must
be other brands surely!).
