Thanks for your input, it's interesting to see other people's code.
I used to use that ftp approach when using ftp for dos/windows. It's a good
idea especially when a computer doesnt have ncftp (some simple installations
dont)

I'll take a look at your MICQ script too, how do you like it better than
say, LICQ ?
