Well, I don't see any email from him regarding the issue, so he didn't email

You are partially correct Rodos. I've checked all my logs for that particular
email, and it seems the filters got confused with the references header.

I have filtering set up to detect fake IP's in the headers, and it seems they
mistook the string of numbers in the reference headers as an IP address and
refused the email on that basis. Silly me forgot to add in [[] at the beginning
and []] at the end of the range check (256-999). I've since fixed that and the
problem shouldn't occur again.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but how else would I pick up errors in the
filtering rules if not for the SLUG members, they can break any damn thing :-P
