The thing that caught my attention was that she says it displays "RING RING
RING" on the screen. Was this in minicom or another terminal
program? 'ata' on the receiving end (which presumably is displaying the
rings) would tell it to answer. I suppose that's redundant given that
George has said they're looking to get to a password prompt (but others
have covered that point already).
