I've got it up and runnign fine thanks to the HOWTO John pointed out.
I've got Debian admittedly but I used the binaries for 4.0.1 and it
worked fine with no problems.
The config file takes a bit of getting used to and you nede to make sure
you deal with Mesa properly but it's no biggie.
