Done it; works great.  Took me about 2 min in total to get it working on a
clean install of slackware 7.0.0.

Assuming your not using debian.

Go to http://freshmeat.net/

then search for rp-pppoe

The either grab the rpm, if you have a rpm distro, or grab the osurce, and
follow the instructions.

IT is really easy to install.

It took me all of 20 minutes with this package.
