Is this specialised hardware, or a standard replacable sound card? I'd be
happy to donate parts if it were any help... If Linux was preferred, this
may be the better option, given Freedom, freedom and support from SLUG. :)

Taking off my SLUG hat, I can probably help out with the Win98 issue.
Hopefully someone else can help out sooner though, as I'm going to be fairly
out of it over the next couple of weeks.
