(by my reasoning - and the logic i tried to put in the draft "rationale")
the original post is appropriate as it is a technical question related
to installing linux. your reply ("check the power supply") added
something valuable to the discussion, hence it too is appropriate. the
fact you mentioned win95 was unnecessary but harmless.
and by the "leniency clause" (aka "lets all be friendly, ok?"), the
fact you were unsure meant it was ok ;)
