Think of it as a way you can analyse what your organisation is doing and
make it successfull!
The points the fellow made in the article about introductions, what
happening, etc, are correct , but perhaps the LUG didn't really want to
grow bigger, in whcih case pissing him off was the right method. Don't
agree with it myself.
