Ooooh, you must be wanting a sparing match. {:-)
This is actually another pet hate of mine. Taken to its logical
extension, it just means that Linux is a kernel/os/apps for the people
who code it, and the rest can FO...

And the rest of us should make sure we don't touch or allow it to be
used.

Some of us support linux by helping others to use it (install fests,
config fests, apps fests and writing WWW pages on how to do stuff for
non-coders for my own part) and (frustratingly) writing business
justifications for its use.

My excuse for being grouchy is the heat and having to install HW under
MSwin98 this morning - what's your's ?{:-)

(And not being able to have a cup of tea and ginger bread man either -
bloody torture having those things being cooked and not shared {:-(
