Since I was the one that compiled the kernel on Eddy's box, that's what i did (and
always do)
I've removed System.map, rebuilt cleanly, waved a dead chicken, nothing seems to have
worked.

Errrm, I'll read them, but I've compiled that many times I don't think it will be
