I`m trying to install Sane and XSane in Mandrake 7.2. Sane loads OK but when I try to load XSane i`m told that library libsane-dll.so.1 isn`t available. If I look in the relevent Sane Lib files directory , theres a link/shortcut only to libsane-dll.so.1 but I cant find the actual file. Am I looking in the wrong spot, ( find doesn`t find the file either, apart from the link ) or am I meant to track down the file somewhere and place it manually ?.
