Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has been running Andre Hedrick's ATA66 patches on
2.2.19, and what their opinions of them are.

I've got a box I want to use as a file server (amongst other things) on my
home network, with a 30gb 75GXP. Unfortunately, the onboard IDE sucks, so
I'm thinking I'll use a promise ATA66 controller. The data I'll be putting
on it is fairly important to me, and although it'll be backed up, I won't
like seeing it corrupted/destroyed. :-)

I'm also considering using ReiserFS on the drive. (seems stable enough on
2.2.x?)

Suggestions, thoughts, and comments on any of the above would be much
appreciated.

Cheers,

Matt
