That's good to know.  And in fact I've been trying to compile 2.4.3 but
getting compile errors with the new code for Adaptec 2940 SCSI. Compiling
with the old unsupported code seems to be ok. However, the kernel
doesnt boot. I get a row of dots and it stops. I wonder if this
is to do with the SCSI module or could be something else altogether.
