[SLUG] Boot problems

Hi everyone,

I am running debian potato 2.2, and I have downloaded and compiled a 2.4.4 kernel

and when I reboot, it doesn't even get past the " loading..........." part.

And I have updated lilo and updated debain to be able to run this kernel

but it seems to not want to work,

Any ideas would be very helpful
