Somewhile ago one of you sluggers sent me some information re Linux in Sydney schools. I installed KDE 2 and it kyboshed my .KDE folders - email, KAB etc! If you can remember who you were please get in contact with me. You also sent me a script that updates users and passwords. I've had problems with the useradd -p switch. I assume it interprets the text following -p as crypt(password). I had a look at man crypt but don't understand it. Any clues?
